Ear Pinning Surgery: 

• Ear pinning surgery is performed with a small incision behind the ear to bring the ear closer to the skull and correct the prominent angle between the ear and the skull. This procedure addresses common causes of protruding ears, such as insufficient cartilage development and the size of the earlobe. 

• The surgery can be done under general or local anesthesia, lasting about 1-1.5 hours. You can be discharged 4-5 hours after the surgery. 

• In the early postoperative period, minimal swelling may be observed behind the ear. Due to the small incision behind the ear, the scars are almost invisible. The use of a headband for 2-3 weeks after the operation is recommended, and you can return to social activities immediately.
