Nose Aesthetics (Rhinoplasty):

Closed Rhinoplasty - Achieving Natural and Harmonious Results: Nose aesthetics, also known as rhinoplasty, is one of the most commonly preferred aesthetic surgeries worldwide, including our country. It is performed to correct structural and functional abnormalities resulting from genetic factors or traumatic conditions. The primary goal of this surgery is to ensure the patient can breathe comfortably and achieve a harmonious nose aesthetics with facial features. The technique applied in our clinic is called closed rhinoplasty. In this technique, incisions made inside the nostrils allow the operation to be performed without leaving visible scars, preserving blood vessels, nerves, and muscle structures. Operation Details:

• Closed rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia and takes around 2-2.5 hours on average.
• The patient is kept under observation in the hospital for one night after the operation.

Recovery Process:

• Silicone tampons placed inside the nose during the operation and the splint placed on the upper part ensure comfortable breathing in the postoperative period.
• On the 7th day, silicone tampons and splints are removed, stitches are taken, and the final check-up is performed.
• Swelling that occurs in the first months decreases within 1-2 months, but complete resolution may take up to 6 months.
• It may take 1 year for the nose shape to fully settle, and the recovery process to be completed.

Recommendations and Limitations:

• No glasses should be worn for the first 3 months after the surgery, and sunscreen should be used.
• Avoid engaging in collective sports for 3 months and stay away from activities that may involve impact.
• To prevent an increase in swelling, activities such as swimming should be avoided for 3 months.
